02 · Digital Architecture

Product data, feeds and search, fixed where the revenue leaks.

The plumbing that decides whether anyone ever finds you: site structure, product data, feeds, search, and measurement.

Who it’s for

  • Ecommerce brands whose products are disapproved or quietly missing in Google Merchant Center and Shopping.
  • Teams whose product data, taxonomy and attributes grew by accident, so the site, feeds and retailers all describe products differently.
  • Brands that can't trust their analytics, or rebuilt a site and lost search traffic.

The work

Consumer brands lose more revenue to broken product data than to bad creative. Feeds reject silently, PDPs miss the attributes people search for, analytics measure the wrong event, and nobody notices for a quarter.

This is the unglamorous layer — information architecture, structured product data, merchant feeds, technical SEO, and analytics that answer real questions. It is also where the fastest compounding returns usually are.

How it runs

  1. 01

    Audit

Read-only access to your store, feeds, Merchant Center, Search Console and analytics. A crawl and feed-rejection audit, a taxonomy and attribute inventory, and a list of what isn't being measured, ranked by revenue at risk.

  2. 02

    Quick fixes

The silent failures that need no design work or approvals get fixed first, so the engagement starts paying back in the first weeks.

  3. 03

    Rebuild

The data model, feed rules, site structure and event tracking, rebuilt in your own systems and documented as we go. Feeds pass validation in a test environment before anything goes live.

  4. 04

    Handover

A runbook for whoever owns it next, a handover session with your site and data owner, and 30 days of monitoring for regressions.

What you get

What it costs

From $4,500

$4,500 covers a focused audit with written findings, like the Google Merchant Center feed audit. A full digital architecture engagement is typically around $32,000 over 4–8 weeks, 20% less for brands under $5M in revenue.

Questions

Can you fix Google Merchant Center disapprovals and suspensions?
Yes. Feed rejections, missing attributes, misrepresentation flags and products that silently drop out of Shopping are the most common starting point. The audit finds what's being rejected and why, ranked by revenue at risk, and the fixes that need no approvals go in first.
What is a merchant feed audit?
A merchant feed audit checks the product data you send to Google, Meta and retail partners against what each one requires and what shoppers search for. It finds disapproved and missing products, weak titles and attributes, and the rules that broke them, then sets up monitoring so it doesn't recur.
Do you work in Shopify, BigCommerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud?
The work happens in whatever platform you already run, alongside your developers or agency. The model, rules and tracking are documented so they don't depend on Craft Grow being around.

Who will I actually work with?
Josh Malczyk leads every engagement and stays your point of contact throughout — no account team in between. When the work calls for it, we bring in specialists from our network: creative directors, designers, animators, filmmakers, copywriters and software developers. Josh has held global brand and marketing director roles across K2 Sports' brands (K2, Völkl, Marker, Dalbello, Line and Full Tilt) through their ownership by Jarden, Newell Brands and Elevate Outdoor Collective, was brand architect on Season Eqpt's founding team, and co-founded and publishes Ori magazine.
Do you only work with brands in Seattle?
Craft Grow is based in Seattle and works with consumer brands across the US. Most work runs remotely, with on-site days for workshops, sales meetings and launches when they matter.
