Digital Architecture · Feed audit
Find the products Google Shopping quietly stopped showing.
From $4,500 · About two weeks
A Google Merchant Center feed audit for consumer brands. Every disapproval, missing attribute and silent rejection, ranked by the revenue it's costing you, with the fixes you can make this week separated from the ones that need a rebuild.
Why it matters
Feeds fail quietly.
A product gets disapproved, drops out of Shopping, and nothing in the weekly report says so. The line just looks a little softer than expected, and nobody connects it to a feed rule changed months ago.
The cause is usually unglamorous: a missing GTIN on one variant family, an attribute mapped to the wrong field, titles that don't match what people search, a price or availability mismatch between the feed and the page. Each one is small. Together they can take a whole market's products out of the results.
The audit finds them, puts a number next to each, and leaves you with a monitoring habit so the next one gets caught in days, not quarters.
What the audit checks
Everything between your product data and the shopping results.
- 01
Disapprovals and warnings
Every item Merchant Center has disapproved, limited or flagged, grouped by cause, including misrepresentation and policy flags that can suspend an account.
- 02
Products that never arrive
Items in your catalog that never reach the feed at all, filtered out by a rule, a missing field or a sync that stopped.
- 03
Titles and attributes
Whether titles, product types, colors, sizes, materials and gender match what shoppers search for and what Google needs to show the right variant.
- 04
Identifiers and variants
GTINs, MPNs, brand and item-group data, where one gap can hide an entire variant family.
- 05
Price and availability
Mismatches between the feed, the product page and structured data that trigger disapprovals and lost trust.
- 06
Feed rules and sources
The rules, supplemental feeds and app settings that transform your data on the way out, and which of them are quietly breaking it.
Scope and price
Fixed price, written findings, fixes ranked by revenue.

Questions
Merchant Center feed audits
- What is a Google Merchant Center feed audit?
- A feed audit checks the product data you send to Google Merchant Center against Google's requirements and against what shoppers actually search for. It finds disapproved, limited and missing products, explains the cause of each, and ranks the fixes by how much revenue they're putting at risk.
- Why are my products disapproved in Merchant Center?
- The most common causes are missing or invalid identifiers (GTIN, brand, MPN), price or availability that doesn't match the product page, missing required attributes for apparel and variants, and policy flags such as misrepresentation. An audit shows which of these applies to which products.
- Can you help with a Merchant Center suspension?
- Yes. Suspensions for misrepresentation or policy issues are usually caused by a mix of feed data and site content. The audit identifies what triggered it, what to change before requesting a review, and how to keep it from happening again.
- How much does a feed audit cost and how long does it take?
- Feed audits start at $4,500 and take about two weeks from read-only access to written findings. Brands under $5M in revenue pay 20% less.
- What do you need from us?
- Read-only access to Merchant Center, the feed source (Shopify, a feed app or a file), Search Console and analytics, plus a short call with whoever manages the store. Nothing changes in your accounts during the audit unless you ask for it.
- Who does the audit?
- Josh Malczyk leads every audit — no account team in between. Josh has led global brand and marketing for K2 Sports' brands, including K2, Völkl, Marker, Dalbello, Line and Full Tilt, and has diagnosed and repaired product feeds that had quietly dropped a whole market out of Shopping results. When a fix needs development work, we bring in developers from our network.
